Eve Captured Mark K.’s Safe Driving on Tape

You have control over almost everything inside your cab. But when it comes to outside of it, it’s a different story.


Recently, Eve, our external event recorder, captured U.S. Xpress Professional Driver Mark K.’s safe driving skills when another car hydroplaned on a rainy day. Remaining calm and focused, he was able to slow down quickly and keep himself and other driver out of harm’s way. Check it out

Need to Weigh a Load? Locate a Scale from your DriverTech.

Easily locate a scale on your route right from your DriverTech navigation. Simply press the blue road sign button on your DriverTech navigation screen, select “Scale”, and your DriverTech unit will then begin searching for options based on your current route. When the search is complete, up to four optimal scale options will display on your screen, and you can select the one that best suits your needs.

Help Us Help You! Rate our 40,000 Parking Locations.

You can now easily locate a safe parking location on your route right from your DriverTech navigation. When you select the “Parking,” your DriverTech unit will begin searching for options based on your current route. When the search is complete, up to four optimal parking options will display on your screen, and you can select the one that best suits your needs. 

Our goal is to ultimately provide you with the best possible suggestions for parking locations on your route, so we need your feedback! When you visit one of these 40,000 parking locations, please take a few minutes to rate your experience based on the following categories:

• Safety

• Cleanliness

• Lighting 

• Ease of Accessibility 

• Lot Fullness

Coing soon, your ratings will be used to create average driver ratings for each location, so that you will be able to view how your fellow drivers have rated a suggested parking location before you select it. Your ratings on these locations will help us provide you with the best future suggestions, fueled by your collective feedback.

It’s Vacation Time!

We have an exciting new update to your benefits that we think you’re going to love.

Starting October 1, 2020, if you’re a U.S. Xpress Company Drivers who’s not already covered under a Dedicated vacation plan, you’ll receive vacation time after being with U.S. Xpress for one year! And the longer you’re with us, the more vacation you get. Here’s the run-down:

  • 1 Year Tenure: 1 Week of Vacation
  • 3 Years Tenure: 2 Weeks of Vacation
  • 7 Years Tenure: 3 Weeks of Vacation
  • 15 Years Tenure: 4 Weeks of Vacation

Vacation should be taken one week at time and will pay out at a rate based on the your prior 52-week average pay.

Keep in mind, this vacation package will replace the current Annual Retention Bonus because, this way, you’re getting paid more.

If you are a driver that is currently on a Dedicated vacation plan that is less than the above package, you may see changes to your vacation plan. If your current Dedicated plan exceeds the above, you will stay on your current package. All existing Dedicated vacation plans will now also be based on your company anniversary date.

Be on the lookout for a direct communication that will detail how these changes specifically affect you.
